design et al are delighted to announce the successful short listing of Taylor Interiors for the Bathroom Award.
The Norwegian client assigned us to create a very comfortable, cosy, modern, holiday home in Mallorca, which would allow their two grown up children with their partners to fully enjoy the house and entertain their guest. The task was to create a perfect ‘ party house for the summer ‘.
The bathrooms continued the theme of using strong clean lines and natural materials. A large freestanding bath is the centre piece of the stunning and grand master bathroom. A floor mounted tap hovers over the bath in order not to detract from the bath’s stunning curves. In contrast to the bath, the wall mounted units and shower screen have strong angles. The double sink unit is cased in wood, yet has stunning marble sinks. Chrome fittings throughout the bathroom complement the scheme perfectly. An oversized walk-in shower nestles in the corner with a large glass showerscreen . The entire villa is equipped with bed-linen and towel sets provided by Heirlooms. To personalize the items each towel, dressing gown, napkin and wardrobe hanger has been adorned with the logo of the private villa.
