design et al are delighted to announce that That Is Ith Interior has been shortlisted for Interior Design Scheme – Global Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
That Is Ith Interior were enlisted to design an experience sales gallery for a new condominium in the Ekkamai area of Bangkok. This area is referred to by locals as the trendy or hipster district. The brief was to blend the interiors with the surrounding cool cafes and bars so that the condominium would fit perfectly into this environment.
The property would serve as a new luxury lifestyle for millennials and so all clients would have to complete a ‘personal test’ to get a personalised room layout. This new concept is being launched in 3 location all over Bangkok in desirable areas, with more areas being planned. In addition, residents would also benefit from a ‘sharing facility concept’ in which all residents would have access to facilities at any location at any time for ease and convenience. This is particularly beneficial to Bangkok residents due to high traffic areas.
The property in Ekkamai is the first location in this series to be launched and has a total project value of $110,000,000. That Is Ith Interior decided that the sales lobby for the property would be better transformed into a real café, where potential purchasers can relax and enjoy some coffee whilst discussing the property.
The bold and striking design of the suspended blue tubes, from inside and also wrapping the facade outside, stands out among the cool cafes and restaurants in this area. To compete with surrounding properties, this building had to have something unique. It is standing out on its own, but it also blends in perfectly with the cool context around it as one. Each space inside is distinctive and memorable which is perfect for branding and marketing.
