design et al are delighted to announce that That Is Ith Interior has been shortlisted for Luxury Residence – Asia Pacific Award in The International Design & Architecture Awards 2019.
That Is Ith Interior were enlisted to design this new arty show unit located in a super luxury high-rise residence in the centre of Bangkok city.After the success of the project launch in the previous year, this unit had to similarly reflect the sleek and elegant, artful and understated luxurious character of this prestigious building. The brief given to That Is Ith Interior identified the target for this development as ‘the new generation of wealth’ who seek exceptional urban living quality beyond what you would usually expect from a high rise.
The interiors had to be sophisticated and would transform urban, young, crisp and cool to cosy, humble and artful. This would provide the clients with a comfortable sanctuary away from the bustle of city living. The key aspect of this project for That Is Ith Interior is the contrast of sleek, perfectly streamlined interior architecture against the imperfect shapes of furniture, lighting sculptures and accessories. The art was transformed as part of the design feature to create a free and fluid intriguing twist in harmonious rhyme with the interiors.
The artistic printing techniques on glass in different layers has created such interesting depth and illusion to the art feature in the bedroom, the painting is not just a simple wall hanging object anymore. The design and interiors are very sleek, simple yet comfortable and would perfectly suit any wealthy urban individual who required comfort and luxury, and a hideaway from the busy street of Bangkok.
