Hill House were brought in by luxury property developers, Octagon, to create a sensational scheme in a luxurious mansion. An art deco inspired über glamorous space to appeal to 7star international clientele in a modern mansion in Surrey. The key feature of this project is the view through from the master bedroom, leading from the lavish mirrored dressing area to the piece de resistance, the master bathroom. This creates a perfect transitional composition between spaces. The dressing area is a Hill House special, the ‘Versailles vestiaire’, a dedicated room where every centimetre of cupboard, drawer, wall and ceiling has been clad in Italian bevelled mirror panels, and set aglitter with Swarovski studded lighting. The interior designers have absorbed an American influence when it comes to dressing rooms, and understand the balance of creating a practical space which is also somewhere to treat yourself, so design and style are both crucial.Symmetry and attention to detail are always paramount in Hill House’s designs. When it comes to bathrooms, they need to look fabulous, whilst maintaining practicality and hidden storage areas, which are always top of the agenda. This stunning bathroom perfectly illustrates how this can be achieved.
