Inheriting from InterContinental’s brand principle: in-depth knowledge and journey around the whole world, Hotel InterContinental Zhuhai with the motif of “picking pearls from the deep sea” abstracted from the romantic story of Zhuhai fisher girl, connects marine elements such as pearls, fishing nets, etc. with the space, and creates one high-end business resorts hotel with coastal characteristics.
The overall spatial design continues to adopt exclusive black and gold tone of InterContinental brand, together with the luster and line combination of metal, glass and marbles and so on to create modern, chic, and luxury feeling. Marine blue forms various tones and depicts magnificent underwater world in the carpet. The pearly shape and natural texture together with changing forms of fishing nets and environmentally friendly materials are adopted by designers in the modern approach, which is showcased in the soft and hard furnishings of the hotel and endows the space with simple and plain aura of the fishing life, and romantic and leisured sentiment of the coastal city.
Mainly with business and simplistic design style of the suites, the simple spatial layout can maximally alleviate the interference factors of work and rest. The hard furnishing consists of the linen wall covering, marbles and logs, highlights the simplistic texture and satisfies moderns with a pursuit of low-key and luxury quality of life. The flowing texture of the material brings variant rhythms and cascading beauty to the space. The original wood tone together with grey comprises of the main tone, which creates cozy and elegant ambience, and has the effect of calming the nerves.
