The studio offers a comprehensive design service including architecture, spatial planning, interior architecture, lighting, kitchens & bathrooms, bespoke joinery and specialist areas, always with consideration of the relationship of the interior to the exterior spaces. The studio also offers a compete project and construction management service.
Known for transforming manor houses, estates, barns and cottages of the Cotswolds, Pippa Paton Design’s approach is consistent: an unwavering focus on the bones of the structure that reflect the unique character of the region, and blending these seamlessly with contemporary materials (such as polished concrete, resin, steel and polished plaster) and the textures of natural materials (wood, stone, linen and wool) to create timeless, luxurious homes. Over the past two decades the studio has successfully reconfigured many historic (and more recently constructed) homes for life in the 21st century, finding solutions to everything from how to turn the myriad of rooms ‘behind the green baize door’ into large family-friendly kitchen / living / dining spaces, to removing entire floors to form double-height master suites.
