We are architect led and aim to find a unique solution to every project, supported by craftsmanship and specialist technical expertise. We are confident that no conservatory company is equipped to offer this level of design flexibility and specialist skills. At Trombé our objective is to harness the liberating power of glazing to bring light and space into your home. We are particularly excited to be able to offer the most leading edge glass technology in the form of large span steel frame structures, or even frameless structural glass construction. Alternatively, well-tried timber frame construction can be used in a fresh way to give a light, modern feel to a conservatory structure. Although known for our contemporary work, projects involving listed buildings and conservation areas, demand a sensitive and harmonious approach to design. We use honest, good quality materials and well-tried joinery as opposed to low cost, standardised components and construction. Whilst we aim to create beautiful and traditional English conservatories, we avoid pastiche and strive for the elegant simplicity that typifies the best of classical and vernacular design.
